Terror threat level is critical and this is surely a high risk security worry.
Bradford and its University have been identified In a number of reports as an area of Islamic radicalisation and of course Rotherham has some recent negative history with its Muslim population so clearly this game is a higher than average risk.
I hope the authorities are taking extra precautions and would like to hear of an armed police deterrent.
Be vigilant and be safe but please respect Muslims and understand the vast majority are good people.

Your last sentence is typical of the wooly thinking dragging this country to perdition. While politicians ring their hands over the latest terror attack thay are at the same time actively promoting policies that fuel Islamic terror. The greatest error was David Cameron allowing religious schools to proliferate under the free schools movement while the hapless May is now seeking to overturn the requirement that selection by religion be capped at 50% of a new school's intake. A few facts. The hijab is part of the official school uniform at a fifth of state primary schools. In Muslim schools at the age of eight girls are routinely removed from swimming classes. 61% of Muslim students (compared to 19% in the general population) live at home during university. Labour politicians regularly attend gender-segregated meetings with Muslim elders. Amina Lone and Sarah Khan, Muslim feminists working to achieve a better deal for Muslim women and girls are both condemned by labour activists as "Islamophobes." Cue MMM, John2 and Kerr coming on spouting the supposed benefits of the new buzz word, "diversity" - which, btw, could also be described as "having nothing in common."
Should have typed "wring" not "ring".
There were indeed armed police there.
Good attempt at doing a Gino though
