A Knight In White Satin- Justin Hayward , Cardiff last night

For Moody Blues fans like myself it is always a bonus when Justin Hayward goes on a solo tour. His 90 minute performance included tracks from his solo albums as well as a fair sprinkling of classic Moody Blues favourites which is the real reason we were there last night. Throw in some stories when the Moodies got started , and how he came to write some of the songs and the evening was complete. He saved the best until the end with renditions of Question, Knights In White Satin, and my own favourite Forever Autumn. Even though he's been around a while he is still very capable of producing a great evenings entertainment and this was reflected in the prolonged standing ovation when the show came to an end. A great night out.

Hi Malwayne. I remember going to see Justin Hayward and John Lodge as the Blue Jays at the Apollo in Ardwick in late 1975. They were brilliant!

Yes I agree. I have been a big fan of him and the Moody Blues since the start and to their credit, they never omit Cardiff from their list of tour dates. In the good old days when vinyl was king I used to just go out and buy their albums without knowing what it was like and was never disappointed. I am proud to say I have every release they have ever done and never get fed up of listening to them. Some of their music has a big effect on me and will stop me from what I should be doing just to listen to whatever is being played. I am sure that is the same for a lot of people who listen to other music too. The band has changed very slightly over the years but still produces great music. Their fans down here certainly know it, and I am sure the band does as well.

Of course it's Knights not Knight, but I was just looking for a title as he was performing on his own !!! You can see by my article I have referred to the song in its correct manner !!!!
