He's a fiery little bu gger guys , can rub folk up the wrong way with his attitude at times .

That said he puts everything into the job and won't accept poor standards .

Good luck Bunny in your new role , did a decent job at Oakwell for many years .

Good coach apparently but I've met him and I don't like him, arrogant and unpleasant.

Stones has good things to say about him though and look where he is now so it's a good appointment.

Still no sign of a defence coach for the first team. Seems like an unnecessary extra wage unless somebody is leaving to compensate for it.

What's George Graham doing these days? Now he was a great defence coach.

Is Breck still with us in some capacity or just PR on match days?

Club consultant which means he's available where ever he's needed.

    He's needed.
Great LB defender in his time.
Ideal for coaching Purrington into a £300k+ player

The appointment of Mark Burton is clearly a step in the right direction but he's going to have his work cut out because the academy set up at Barnsley is light years ahead of ours.
Hopefully his expertise will ensure improvements and advancements are built in to our youth development programme and, in time, we will see "some of our own" cementing regular starting places in the first team.
    We can hope.....
