Apologies if I've missed any threads on Burnley Literary Festival but we've been asked to spread the word so I thought I'd give it a mention here. The festival runs from 6th to 9th of October, 2017 and features events and activities to interest both readers and writers. For events listing and tickets see: Ticket Source

The organisers have kindly asked me to participate in a Local Authors Panel Session. This will be on Monday 9th October, 14:30 to 16:00 at a Pop-up Festival venue in 93 St. James's Street (by Wilkinsons Cameras).
Authors Barbara McHallam, Laura Sheridan and Terence Park will discuss what inspires them to write, followed by readings from their respective works. Books will be available for purchase. I will be reading from my book Burnley, which is a collection of essays about the town and an account of Burnley Grammar School between 1967 and 1974 (the years I attended) so if this is your thing, come along. As I write Science Fiction I will also read some of that.

Further details about my book: Burnley can be found here and copies can be bought at this print-on-demand site.
Here's my Goodreads profile and blog.
