Balan - separate question altogether but what are the average daily temperatures in Israel in January?

its years and years since I was there - looking at taking a holiday and wouldn't mind returning for a bit of memory lane wandering.

Oh not January : It snows and can be 5 C ,( 41 F) sometimes sunshine but cold for me thats freezing. Winter has the bird migration thousands of birds pass from Europe to Afica.
    Google :

Daytime Israel temperatures are very pleasant; around 60-70F (15-25C) degrees in most of the country (still hot, though, around the Red Sea and Dead Sea). Jerusalem will be in the 40-50F (5-10C) in the evening. There will be some rain – nothing torrential. Israels winter weather fluctuates

The bird is a chick of the Spur Winged Lapwing ,or Spur Wing Plover. In each photo there are 2 chicks. The spur-winged lapwing is known to sometimes use the wing-claws,like a thorn on its wings and does attack animals other birds who get too close to the birds' exposed offspring.
    Spurs on wings

    Ready to attack
