My Burnley shirt getting loads of respect today.

There I was ,wearing the famous claret and blue jersey, walking around Cardiff city centre this afternoon. in the gorgeous sunshine just taking in what's going on around me. Lots of Irish fans sitting outside several pubs/ bars, green shirts everywhere just having a good time on the eve of tomorrow's massive game. To my surprise , several Irish fans acknowledged me and weren't shy in passing favourable comments in my direction or coming over to shake hands whilst having a quick chat. The only reason I can think of was the obvious connection of the Clarets players in the Irish squad and that didn't go unnoticed. Luckily there wasn't a red shirt in sight anywhere. With a strong Burnley connection belonging to both squads , it now seems inevitable that someone is going to be disappointed come tomorrow night. Regardless of the result I just hope that they are all mates again at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon when they line up together again. !!! The

Should be a great occasion tomorrow, and I don't know who to support!

On balance it should be Ireland but I love Vokesy.

Main thing is there are no injuries to our lads.

I’m on the fence about Wales vs ROI too, with a slight leaning towards ROI considering the large Burnley content. Brady seems to be rounding into form nicely, Wardy’s solid as a rock. Obviously Wales will miss Bale, I’m good with Vokesy scoring though, in a close loss.

Yup, no injuries to our lads.

O/T a bit. I watched England vs Lithuania earlier, what a load of cr*p…..again. What on earth was Keano thinking? A striker would probably be chuffed with the effort to score, good thing Butland was on his toes.

the thing with keno is now they are not winning and confidence drains away and good players become edgy and that example shows what confidence can do .could be another burnley player to leave us to end up suffering back luck jay rod did his knee ings also they never seem to do ok tripps is the one who has done ok

Wardy, Brady and Hendo are all playing well, Wales at home, winner takes all - should be a crackerjack this one! Vokes to win it?

Its nice to see a Burnley shirt in another town/city/country as I did in Turkey a few weeks ago, I always try and take some pendants abroad for when I go into a bar/restaurant and see stickers behind the bar and ask them to pin one up.
