    Wood hamstruck

Came on for 20mins in NZ 0-0 draw with Peru as his hamstring problem got worse on the flight. Now he’s off to Peru for the return leg. Hope his sore leg doesn’t return!

Watched the game in the pub, NZ were crap until Wood came on then they seemed to click when they got a target man up front and were a different team for the last 20 mins. Peru weren't that flash either.

What do they do sprints up the aisle ? They have to look after our main striker a bit better than that.

13 hours on a flight gives my hamstring a twang and I'm not even injured!

If he flew back on Emirates the three mile hike through Dubai airport probably stuffed him when he changed flights.

All these bloody high flyers, highlight of my year was when my bus pass was accepted in Newcastle upon Tyne.

My biggest ever disappointment came last week. A really bonny, young blonde female offered me her seat on the tube!
