Prando mate I don't think it's about stats one v the other . It' for me is what the new manager is inherenting an ageing squad lack of pace with players now picking up more injury ,we have at least a couple of players who I wouldn't play at all in fact I would move on . No real goal scorer who could get us 15 goals a season , I think pulis brought in some absolute rubbish Livermore & the pole never seen then have good game yet . Ok one on loan Barry been good but at 37 ? G mac 36 ? Even Jose Mourinho ain't going to get anything out of these , & as for McLean & Nyom do I have to say anymore.

Forgetting the top 6 clubs who are pretty much in a league of their own, clubs either end up sacking, or have their managers poached by a bigger outfit. This tear Pulis has served up dross with very few acceptable results and had to go. Pardew, hopefully will bring better football and enough points to secure another top flight season. Hopefully he will do well next season but, as with most managers things will eventually fall apart and he will be dismissed. Clarke was the prime example of this.
