Nice end to the first half of the season (thank goodness for the disallowed last minute goal - could it be the turning point ?). Paradoxically, we're not yet out of the race for promotion (only 9 points separate us from the play-off places), so there's still something to play for other than keeping relegation at arms length. We only need to emulate Manchester City.... Seventeen wins in a row should do the trick Thanks Waldron for handling the predictions league so efficiently. As for my 'amazing' score, it boils down to 10 per cent calculation and 90 per cent luck, which is unlikely to continue indefinitely. So don't lose heart, I expect things will be much tighter next time round. As I'm not going to be here for the next few days, if you don't mind Waldron, I'll post my results for the New Year matches later today (please check that the fixtures correspond). Happy Christmas and best wishes to all for the New Year, which as always I hope will be better than the previous one....
