There's absolutely no other way to dress any of this up.
Rafa needs to up his game and start using what he has and stop bemoaning lack of players when you refuse to play some that could clearly change the percentage stats into a much more respectable positive and ensuring a comfortable survival.
Let's be fair, managers are getting sacked by the bucket load so it's not like we don't stand a chance of getting some positive movement going.

Stop moaning Rafa and let's see what you've really got in your managerial locker.

I still think that we will stay up and the only reason that we will is that Rafa Bentiez is our manager.

Our squad is so poor - years of bargain basement shopping, hardly a premier league player in sight.

I honestly believe that it was a miracle that he so nearly saved us last time in the prem and actually got us back up at the first attempt. Wolves, Villa, Leeds, Derby, Boro, Sheff Wed, Norwich, QPR, Sunderland!!! All STILL there, some of them season after season.

But for Rafa we would still be there preparing for trips to Burton and Barnsley.

I honestly and truthfully think he would have saved us easily if he'd never came in and called all the players into training on their day off.
I don't care what anyone thought of the players at the time, that was not going to endear them to him and I believe just waiting till they came in the next day would have paid much better dividends.

I happen to believe Shearer messed up by trying the hard line approach when he had 8 games and yet he nearly managed it.

I wonder how many of those who say it's wrong to criticise Rafa in any way are the same people who heaped vicious personal abuse on Pardew, McClaren and Carver. I hope Rafa never gets this. It's possible to question his record and decisions as manager without getting personal. I hope he gets reinforcements in January but whether he gets them or not I'd give him 5 games in the new year to turn things round. The future of NUFC is more important than the future of Mr R. Benitez. Moyes, Hodgson and Allardyce have improved results with the same squads. But when you point this out you're alway told that the situation is different with NUFC. Maybe it is but, as I've said before, you can't leave things to the last 10 games. Even then, after 5 game after the new year there'll only be 12 left.
