    Great battling performance

I would have taken a point today tbh...............but the extra two are very welcome thank you very much! Terrible start, but battled afterwards and thoroughly deserved our victory. The linesman tried his best to feck it up but hard luck son. When they got back to 2-3 I thought they might sneak something but we defended really well and are out of the bottom three after the horrendous run, and in the last couple of weeks unlucky few games where nothing went for us (even today we hit the woodwork again!).

Well done Rafa. You had the lads up for it and given that we had Shelvey, Merino, Le Jeune, Hayden, Mitrovic missing they actually weren't missed. Clark and Lascelles is the central defensive partnership there is no doubt.

Ohhhh and nearly forgot Sland couldn't beat the bottom team at home and are in the bottom three of the 'piss easy league' for Xmas, and below the mighty BURTON!!!

    Happy Christmas!

Man City is a free hit but Brighton/Stoke we have to be looking to get 4 points.

For sure Bob. The way City are playing at present does not give us much hope but you never know.

The other 2 games are a different story and we can get some points if we show the same battling qualities as we did today.

Top effort. Everyone played their part - special mention for Atsu - loved it when he skinned Zabaletta for the second.

    Great to see.

I'll take a respectable loss against City at this point.

If anything, this game shows Rafa still has players on side, despite some who insist he's lost the dressing room.
