Why has Mallan fallen out favour again? He didn't seem to do a lot wrong against Preston , yet Gardner seems to waltz into the team (although it was arguably his best game against reading but sill didn't pull up any trees) week in week out and frankly doesn't look like he wants to be here - sat on his own on train back from Fulham, trudged off on his own whilst the other players came to acknowledge fans.

Why when he seemingly can't be bothered to get stuck in had this urge to rehabilitate other teams' players. Villa are hardly pulling up any trees and they don't want him, yet we have contracted players getting their noses shoved out of joint to crowbar in crap loan signings.

Whilst I'm on my rant drop bloody Davies. Their were 2 instances (I think v Preston ) where he didn't give a call to the CBs yet he's supposedly a great communicator because he's the captain
