I think the last movie I saw at the cinema was "The Usual Suspects". I dont get out much
This is 1 OT I hope has a long shelf life, since there's so much to talk about. Although I don't expect replies everyday, but once in a way if you watched something good, do share.
The reason for this topic now is because I just watched Murder on the Orient Express 2017. I've read the book of course, Agatha Christie is 1 of my favourite authors. I think her books are the most read after the Bible and another (I forget what).
I also watched the previous adaption (was it from the 70s?) Anyway, not a bad show, although I've always preferred Peter Ustinov as Poirot.
And because of this show, I'm now watching the Wallander series. More that later.
So what's your movies of late?

Are you on a bonus Rom?
Such a big topic. Tried to come up with my five favourite films of all time...in no particular order... ‘Kes’, ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, ‘Life is Beautiful’, ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’, but there are so many and just about any decent Western would find its way in there too.
Next film I aim to see? ‘Hostiles’...anyone seen it?
I actually watched Kes last night.
Classic film. Poignant and hilarious.
OK here are a couple more favourites for you to google Rom:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - just wierdly surreal
The Accountant - well of course I like this one - hah the dont make teachers like that
The Great Escape
Last film I saw at a Movie theatre that I actually wanted to watch (ie not just keeping Mrs F company): Tucker - The Man And His Dream (starring Jeff Bridges), January 1989. True story of a guy who took on the big boys of USA car making, and lost. I was the only paying person in the theatre, a surreal experience especially when there were two dutiful ice cream dollies in attendance
Last film I watched all the way through on TV: Dead Man's Shoes, Shane Meadows' finest hour as much blood is shed in sleepy old Matlock. Knowing some of the locations added an unnerving realism to the film, and Toby Kebble's portrayal of Anthony deserved an Oscar
