did you.need another thread to repeat yourself?
sturridge says he joined west brom for footy rasons
that part of the deal is down to rafa
he couldnt persuade sturridge that he was the right manager to get him playing again
and we lost out to pardew
think of that
players would prefer to play for pardew over rafa
thats what is wrong with us
attacking players wont want to play for a manager whos only thought is defence
did you.need another thread to repeat yourself?
truth is
we have never had trouble getting players in
might not be worldy but we attracted players like sissoko ,cabaye, etc etc etc
we cant even get 5th rate goalies now under rafa
the striker from posh wasnt interested either
players like sturridge even 3 seasons ago would jump at the chance of getting game time in front of 52 fans
we were willing to pay the money
we had done enough to get him to come here finacially
yet he chosed pardew over rafa
think of that
you really believe that 22 months of Rafa have done more damage than 11 yrs of Ashley?
please don't answer as it's a rhetorical question.
Could this be the only thread that you undermine Rafa? Could you leave other threads alone? You kill nearly every discussion.
What a complete load of sh!te.
It’s the serial under investment by Fatty that has resulted in players not joining... who the f**k wants to join a club that has failed miserably to strengthen in almost every PL transfer window in a decade.
This team is the worst Premiership squad we have ever had, and anyone who disputes that is an idiot!
An owner who gambled with the PL status, and it’s failed twice already... and the way this window is going it’s likely we’ll go down a third time.
Ahh. I get it.
As we come to the end of another failed, beleaguered transfer window, it's Rafa's fault, because players don't want to play for him?
Not because they're being offered more attractive terms (ie money), elsewhere by more ambitious clubs.
I think Ians point about our history of relegations and recruitment policy under the fat controller COULD be offputting for recruits. Am I gonna win anything with Newcastle, are they ambitious, do they want to qualify for Europe, win a cup. These are questions any recruit with ambition will be asking himself, and unfortunately the answer to all of them is a resounding NO.That could be part of the problem Rafa is up against, that and the poisioned dwarf that is Charnley.
And that's a problem which is self-perpetuating, forming a rapidly tightening downwards spiral. The better players will want more money to come...which Ashley won't pay...resulting in us recruiting players a rung or two down the 'ability ladder'...thus lessening our chances of success/progress even further...leading to more players not wanting to come unless we pay even bigger wages which Ashley won't......well, you get the picture.
Another day, another thread trolling Rafa.
Porky Pig is, of course, blameless. The players are, of course, leaving it all on the pitch every match.
Instead...it's Rafa's fault. From the day he walked into this circus, he's demonstrated that he's taken Newcastle to his heart because the singing fans made a big impression. Now, he is just left with the impression that the situation is a hapless load of sh'it; having no-doubt been promised things that never materialised by Tweedle Dee and Tweedle "Dumb".
He tried. He failed. He's been let from by all directions at this club. Most fans know the score and even if we disagree with some of the things he does, we know the deal. And he knows we know.
But yeah, it's his fault. Oh aye.
