When the Towell gets thrown in...

    ..the tough get going.

What a star this lad has been. Didn't think he had a good first half against Donny but in the second half you could see he had rolled up his sleeves to not only get us back into the game but also win it. His energy is boundless. He is all over the pitch helping out in defence and supporting attacks and was unlucky not to score himself. He's a great influence on young will at the side of him who shows the same enthusiasm as him. I don't suspect we will keep him next year our only chance being if we get up but if we do go up he will be a big reason why.

If we dont get another player in the Summer we need to find another Richie Towell that is for sure.

    Well done Richie!

The thing that surprises me is that sometimes there isn't a single player in the center of midfield when we attack down the flanks yet when play breaks down Towell or Vaulks always seem to be there to help out.

It's something I see during the game and would cause concern but you just don't realise how quickly someone gets there to help out. We've seen Forde running almost the lenght of the pitch to put a tackle in even JCH did it. However Towell pops up anywhere on the pitch to make an impact.

He's turned into a favourite of mine along with a few others this season.
