3rd of March and we are safe!

Gone through a lean run but we can ease off now with the pressure and play some silky stuff now, which we are capable of.

Lennon and Guddy are looking fantastic. Barnes is just a nightmare. Wood will score goals. Lowton and Ward back to what they do best. Assisting all over. Tarks and Mee looking solid (as did Long!) Pope going to Russia.

Lets get Hendrick back in midfield and pulling strings and we can go on an unbeaten run again and cement 7th place.

We looked better in the second half without Hendrick, although I thought he did okay in the first half..

He is a quality player but I (as many others have said) dont like him in that role. he has a calmness onthe ball which works well as a distributor from a deep midfield position.

He played OK in the first half but it was screaming out for a second striker the way that Keane and Williams were playing. SD got the call right and it paid off.
Wood will get better too with more game time after a 10 week lay off.
Let's see how much further progress we can make.

The way Arsenal are playing we could go 6th. Good to see the return of our injured players has given us that edge back. Let’s hope we are now injury and red card free.

    First double
    Think so.

Sean’s 29th PL win - 1 more to match last years 11 to add to 8 first time round.

With a couple of key players back, and with the lads obviously still full of it, I reckon we can mount a challenge for sixth place.

We still have to play Arsenal who are looking shell shocked. The only other "big" team we have to play is Chelsea, who are nowhere near invincible - especially at t'Turf. (Another double?)

I reckon 55 points is very achievable if we crack on like today.

And then next season we will have Defour and Brady back.

    Wahey!
