O/T RIP Roger Bannister
Passed away aged 88 .
A place in history secured forever with the first under 4 minute mile .
First biography I ever read as a school kid and his achievement will never be forgotten .

It roles off tongue that 4 minute mile whenever his name gets mentioned. He worra neurologist and said he was more proud of his contribution to medicine than his sub 4 minute mile record.
