Best goal difference from 9th down goes to?

Newcastle. Le Jeune and Dubravka have made a huge difference. We look much more solid and compact. Weakest link for me is Yedlin, his pace gets him out of mistakes so to make us even better I would like a new RB. However, onwards and upwards I think well get 7-9 more points to finish comfortably mid table. Wouldnt have said that November/December.

Aye, our goal difference is best by about 3 or 4 goals now. It's 9 plus over the bottom 3.

Dubravka has made a huge difference, his communication skills really show where Elliot and Darlow were lacking.

He's not conceded at St. James yet.

That's exactly what I said about him yesterday, Bob.

To be honest, the way Rafa sets his teams up, I think it's more important that our full backs can defend properly and Yedlin comes up short in that department, imo. I know we said the same about Danny Simpson-liked his effort, etc, but he's one you'd look to replace if you wanted to improve, etc and look what happened to him-but I agree, I think we need better.

we need a goalscorer, a better right back than Yedlin (even though I like him) and we also need better than Diame in the middle (even though he is in good form).

we also need to keep Dubravka and Kenedy.

Even if we can start to relax (a little) with regards to relegation, the run in is still hugely important. The difference in prize money of 3 or 4 places in the table could be just enough to make the sale happen, which would be the real success story of the season.

All of this if addressed last summer window would have made us a solid top of the mid table team with no risk what so ever of being in the relegation scrap.

It would also have left Rafa the option of being more adventurous in attack.

Thanks for all of that Ashley.

Ashley doesn't think like though Pat. He's been here 10 years and on many things doesn't seem to have learnt anything around how to run a football club. He is a compulsive gambler in respect of NUFC.

rafa having us on 35 points with 7 games to go with a chimpionship squad is like a fat kid winning the tour de france on a f'ucking chopper!

as mentioned if the owner had provided him with the proper goal scoring tools rafa would have us a comfortable top 10.

This is true. You can see the difference that signing just Kenedy (and Dubravka) made.
