    Ray Wilkins dies

Aged 61. Always enjoyed listening to him on Sky and radio talksport. He seemed a very decent blowk. 84 England caps and 10 as captain. Its no age to go is it. RIP

Came across as a decent, genuine bloke whenever I saw him on television. R.I.P.

Food for thought. Makes you think is that extra pint, rasher of bacon, bag of scratchings, pork pie worth it? From a health perspective. Prime example of excesses catching up with you in later life.

I'm on salads for lunch and have been since january after my liver scare before xmas. As I've got older I've thought about mortality more and more.

    Is that normal?

Saw him play for England loads of times when I was younger and followed the nation and it's very sad to hear he's passed away .

Wilkins always played , his place was never under threat , steady , reliable , never gave the ball away which is key at that level .

RIP Ray , a real pleasure to have seen you play the game .
