Struggling to to give a f***

With a result like that one yesterday I would normally be spewing. I felt the same after we lost to ICT last week - that result really should be unacceptable. The fact is though, I'm not; Im struggling to care at all.

These games are all effective pre-season friendlies - they're meaningless. There's nothing to play for.

For me, the season was over the day we lost 3-0 at home to Morton. There was no recovering from that. That was the signal that the fire had gone out, the players had chucked it and we had no chance of achieving anything from this season.

I don't think we will make the playoffs. Even if we do, we'll get humped in the first round. Even if we make it through the first round we'll get humped in the second. Even if by some miracle we get to the final there's no way we are beating a team from the premier league, and even if we do we are in no shape to take on a season in the premier league.

Do any of you honestly believe that making the playoffs would somehow make this a successful season?

We need this season shut down ASAP, avoiding any play offs and clearing out ready to start again.

We had beatings handed to us by every team in league except Dunfermline ( (who’ve almost done it) and Brechin who still have their chance......knowing that we are probably the best bet for them getting their first and only win of the season.

We all know honestly that we are just not good enough and undeserving of even the chance of getting promoted.

A pale shadow of our former selves we’d be better to get our house in order now and come back next year with a team of winners who want to play for this club.....and deserve that chance to show us good enough for promotion.

No, not at all, only winning the league would have made it a successful season.
But giving up isn't the answer.
I think we will get 3rd/4th then have 2/4/6 games.
We should all stay involved, there's plenty on the plate.
Life's full of ups & downs, highs & lows.

We blew the season when we sent out a mish-mash of personnel against Crusaders in our defence of the Fizzy Cup. We couldn't even defend our grip on that cup. That was Shab's second game in charge (I think?). Looking back it was an omen.

We need to face up to what we are now, where we are now, instead of living in the past. We do not deserve the title of 'The Wee Team in the City!' From now on, anything we hope for will have to be re-earned.

    I will always “ give a ****” about United.

Get rid of the utter Clown of a manager and things will improve fairly quickly I suspect.

Hopefully someone else in charge of the team on Tuesday night.

Was 'Aural Receptors' not brought in with this in mind (to assist)?

    This

Get him to fk on leave on full pay and put Ellis in charge for what's left

We still won't go up as the players overall apart from a few exceptions don't have the ability, heart, attitude or character to play for a club like ours where they are expected to be winning everweek in this division

However what's happening currently is worse than it should be under someone competent

Its difficult to give a phuck about United at the moment when you know,
1,the owner has ruined the club and could not give a flying phuck.
2,He appoint's his mate as chairman who is just as culpable.
3,We are still paying Southern a wage even though he has pints' of blood on his hands.
4,The manager for whatever reason has completely lost the dressing room(i suspect he never found it in the first place).
5,The charlatans being paid OUR money to pull on the famous tangerine shirt have turned a once proud club into a FN laughing stock.
    6,FACT.
