Never really paid much attention to the dev results when we were decent but can't remember seeing us getting hammered regularly. Can't be good for young laddies confidence getting beat every week.

I don't we ever came close to winning the dev league under Stevie.

From his own mouth it was not about results or where the team finish. About lessons learned and the progress the players make.

Worth bearing in mind that almost every development squad is made up of players who sadly won't make the grade which dampens down the ability of the 11 on the park to win.

Lots of our quality players that came through played in teams that lost heavily and didn't get very high up the tables.

Bow has to go IMO. Under 20’s take regular pumpings and have contributed ****e all in a truly woeful league (bar Matty smith) and when given a chance they got humped by a part time northern Irish teams reserves.

Some seasons we had no dev players stake a regular first team squad place.

Youth Development requires patience. Every season did not yield a new first teamer.

A team comprising only our U20s plus Mehmet beat one of the best Northern Irish club's full strength XIs then lost to ditto in the final minute in the next round. They did not get 'humped' by NI 'reserves', that's garbage. And where are you getting 'a truly woeful league' from, you go to all the games do you?

I have seen the U20 side play Dundee's U20 and you guys were howling. Bowman made a tit of himself trying to fight everyone on the side lines.
