About the booing of Bong.. Saying it was unacceptable..What a load of bollox ..the FA want to look at keeping their own house in order instead of moaning about us booing a black racist name dropper..

I agree alf that the FA issuing this statement implicates that the Burnley fans were guilty of racist behaviour on Saturday when all they were doing was booing an opposition player whose views and actions they did not agree with. Strange that Murphy was also booed but there hasn't been any statement or complaint about that.

Shows how shallow some folk are when labelling everything with the pathetic Racist comment, like Sub says, it was booing for Bongs constant after facts that nothing was proven, yet Bong is still airing his views and expects (along with the FA and everyone else) that everyone should not show their feelings, its utter bollox and does not address the situation which is par for the course with the FA.

I don’t think I have seen a single poster saying Bong was not right to take his case to an FA Tribunal. His accusation was found not proven. He appears then in the light of that verdict to have gone to the press and slated Rodriguez not just to be a racist but a liar to boot. The booing was I think in response to that escalation. It is time a line was drawn under this.

A line will not be drawn under many things Outwood while this PC nonsense and the Racism card is being over used by too many people, its ridiculous and shows a lack of maturity let alone common sense.

I have a statement to make to the FA. You continue to find booing Bong unacceptable, and I shall continue to boo Bong every time I see him play. Fair enough ?

The FA cannot tell 20,000 football fans what they think is "acceptable" or not.

Our stance on Saturday might stop other players of any colour, creed or religion from playing the "race" card.

    I hope so!

If Jay signs for us, next season's games between the Clarets and the Seagulls should be belters!

The line should have been drawn by the FA. They have utterly failed to do that and as a a result this may get worse.

I have some sympathy for the FA, the PC Brigade have them firmly in their sites, so they have to be seen to be playing the game just to keep them off their back, they can hardly do otherwise. Ordinary people in the real world just treat statements like theirs with the contempt they deserve.
