After Saturday’s good fortune it’s very unlikely and I expect a winner of the above match but......!
Next Sunday.....we go a goal up....City bang a couple early past Southampton and Swansea fall behind against Stoke!!
The live league table then shows us either out of the bottom three or needing City to score again or us to get another.
For weeks we’ve had nothing to lose but for a short time we just might have it all to lose if we do get the above scenario.
If the miracle occurs then Darren Moore will have pulled off the most miraculous escape in British football history.
Can you imagine the faces of the other local clubs fans and the pundits :-)
It won’t happen but I’d love Swansea to draw midweek so that Sunday is full of stupid possibilities.
Stoke to win at Swansea seems the most unlikely of the needed results. That said they are down and all the pressure would be on an inept Swansea team.
The biggest let down would be everything falling into place elsewhere with us failing to beat Palace.
If Tuesday night goes our way then anything is possible.
I don't think rearranged games should be played in the week prior to the last games of the season. Seems to me it gives Swansea & Southampton an advantage.
It reminds me somewhat of the Alan Rickman death scene in Prince of Thieves.
West Brom are really milking it
Just ignore him Q he's just jealous because when his turds in shirts went down they got... ahem...17 points.
Big Dave has got 11 in 5 games.
Whatever happens Big Dave has given us our pride back and even though it is too late, it's a damn site better than going down in a samnoballs way.
To miraculously stay up, we needed 8 results to go for us and so far we are half way there.
On Saturday we were down so many times it was unbelievable.
I don't know why but I think tomorrow's game is the that will fooook it up for us.
I want a boring 0-0, but just cannot see it.
The fascinating thing is that five matches ago anybody who said that Albion could stay up would have probably have been taken away by the men in white coats. Now however, it isn't beyond the realms of possibility. If tomorrow's game does end in a draw I'd be tempted to say that it's 'written in the stars' that we will stay up, or am I tempting fate?
