    Love, lust, whatever.

In 1970 Kris Kristofferson was flying to Nashville Tennessee when he met Rita Coolidge. He was so instantly besotted with Rita that he decided not continue on to Nashville, but got off the plane with her in Memphis. They got married three years later in 1973. They were divorced in 1980.

    It never lasts does it.

I just came across this video of them last night BT, singing 'Help Me Make It Through The Night' on the OGWT in 1972.

They're almost licking each other, so in love. So sad.

I'm struggling to understand you here Sinkov.

It DOES last for the majority...or are you referring to celebrities (like BT )

Are you married, if so, how long has it lasted? I've been with my Missus for 22 years and married for 14.

Interesting how relationships are formed. I met my wife in the RAF School of Music in 1966 and we became friends. Valentine's Day 1967, her room mate, a tuba player who used to sit next to me, asked if I had sent a Valentine's Card. I said no and was told that she really fancied me. RAF Uxbridge was right in the edge of town so, at lunchtime, I ran to the newsagents, got a card and then put it on top of her drum kit. We went out with each other that night, both standing our other dates up (what *******s!!) --we got engaged in June and married in October and are now approaching our 51st Anniversary.
    Life can be very strange.

Cheers BT --as you will be aware from my ramblings on here ---she does put up with a lot and really enjoys it when I make the 300 mile round trip to the Turf ---without her!
