    Success and footballers names.

How much does your given name make you a successful player?
Look at the greats, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, Alfredo di Stefano, Lionel Andres Messi Cuccittini.
No wonder England have always been rubbish when our most gifted player was named Paul Gascoigne, who had all the social skills of a park drunk.

I think Bonaparte would have become an ice cream man, and not the master of Europe if he had been named Tony.

    The name doesn’t always work.

Watford had Isaac Success last season.

    That turned out well!

“Desmond” wasn’t exactly giving you a leg up in life old mate!

Potential new signing Bobby Reid has the middle name Armani.

I wonder if he will suit us and fit in given he'll be costing an arm and a leg.
