    Canadian GP

I used to be an avid F1 fan, not so much nowadays due to several reasons, including the ever increasing gap between the ‘have teams’ and the ‘have less teams’…….sound familiar? However I do enjoy watching the Canadian GP from Montreal. It’s always very well attended, the drivers appear to enjoy the race and city, it’s a great track and usually produces a good race. The final corner, name “Wall of Champions’ has seen its share of incidents over the years. Quite appropriately the wall has the slogan “Bienvenue au Quebec” (Welcome to Quebec) written on it.

At time of writing, race just started….and a ‘prang’ already. I’m rooting for Vettel, can’t stand Hamilton, he tends to ‘throw his toys out the pram’ when things don’t go his way.

Footnote: Poutine was invented in Montreal, lovely stuff, it’ll harden the arteries a treat!

Can’t watch it but looking at the text and it seems to be a bit of a procession after 43 laps with a Vettel convoy. Will get highlights later I hope.

Mercedes are certainly not giving Hamilton the 5 Star treatment. Every other team took advantage of new engines, Mercedes didn't and gave it to Vettel on a plate.
