    Football is a team game

Messi and Ronaldo on their way home from the WC already!

Yet again I am reminded that football is a team game not a game just for individuals. We need to keep this in mind when building a new team for next year. A massive difference for me for most of the season was there was little team feel around the team and even the club. Too many players seemed to be only bothered about themselves. Some didn’t even appear to mix at all. So much different to the season before even let along years ago.

We need a together dressing room where players respect each other and go the extra mile for each other. All this modern day kissing of the badge is all show if the players are not firstly giving 100% for the team and their team mates.

Totally agree Yarm! Pity Foster and Dawson though pissed all over Big Dave's preparations when he wanted the togetherness on the pre-season tour. No excuse - as nobody would begrudge any player wanting to better themselves but what these two did was disgraceful!

The only positives I can take from the present situation is the fact that Sam Field just has to play this coming season.

The downside is that he could get swamped due to the lack of quality around him.

It’s time for him and Leko to get a chance....in Leko’s case he needs to get his finger out of his bum hole and start using that obvious talent.
