    Burnley salaries

    Is Ben on £28k

    2018 salaries according to spotrac

We have a few on £35k but what would Ben be worth. I think £40k but that might reverberate and still not be enough.

Those figures are miles out, we're paying a lot more than that. We paid out double their amount the previous season in salaries, and I know there are plenty of others to be paid besides the players, but they take by far the biggest share.

Do you think we are alone in being under reported?
Look at the link and change the club. Keane on £60k Trips on £40k
I presume bonuses are not part of these figures for clubs and Sean supposedly gets twice as much as any player.

Annual accounts say salaries were £34m 2016, £54m in 2017 but mentions only “other pension costs” of £100k.
I presume the club contributes to players pensions significantly more than that.
There are 187 employees. 21 players are listed so there’s another 160. Sean and his team won’t be cheap.

I often consider what is the difference between prudence and doing things on the cheap? Whatever it is, Burnley have nailed it to a tee.
