    Cork City V The Clarets

Has anyone plans to come over? Any pubs pre or post match.

I am so pi-ss-ed off with Burnley and their away ticket allocation at present, I am not spending one penny piece more on going to any away games until they devise a fairer system of away game ticket allocation for all season ticket holders.

I know it's like cutting my nose to spite my face, but I am proper angry at the moment.

I think the current system works well, only 2 or 3 games a season that don't go on general sale to season ticket holders, so why change anything?
A small allocation for a poplar game would create problems for any system that was in place

It works well for those with loads of points who just keep on accumulating points, so the lesser mortals never get a sniff. All Burnley fans are created equal but some are more equal than others.

But surely those with the load of points are those who go to the most games, therefore should get priority. Those who don't get a sniff for the big games obviously don't go to enough games so shouldn't get tickets in preference to those who've amassed the points. What I do think is more thought should be given to families for away games. If you have a family season ticket, and the adult has the correct points there should be a limited number of family tickets made available for away games

That’s probably a fair assessment willy, frustrating as it is. If it was open to all ST holders there would still be thousands disappointed and the loyalty point scheme undermined. I’m cancelling my hotel booking.

I'm seriously considering cancelling my season ticket, the loyalty point system stinks. The ones who go to the most away games do so because they have accrued the most points over decades. Burnley Football Club are treating new fans like pariahs and it just does not work for me!

Apologies if ive missed it on another thread, but what system would you suggest for games where the allocation is low and demand high.
