    Hands tied but.

Rafa has done a decent job this window with no money from fatso.

    Schar,Swiss International played in 2014 World Cup and 2016 Euros,in squad for 2018 W.C.

Ki free signing captain of South Korea in 2018 World Cup.

Muto Japanese International striker played in 2018 World Cup.

Fernandez Argentine International played in 2014 World Cup.

Kenedy a player we wanted for at least another season even if only a loan.

Dubravka, held our defence together after joining in January, now ours.

Rondon, heard some good things about him, let's hope he leads the line well.

What would Rafa have done with decent funds.

I think he done really well with players in, considering the awful way he has been restricted. My main concern is lack of cover in some very key areas especially LB and the absence of a real number 10. I like Perez but dont feel he is a true number 10. I think we will be ok if we stay clear of injuries but I am pretty furious that because of penny pinching we missed out on some good players. The left back from Bristol city only would of cost about 6m and looks a really good player, but instead we start the season with no cover for Dummit

Our first team is OK but we are a serious injury away from disaster in several positions.

I think he would´ve made us the best of the rest this season if he´d been backed properly. I agree, he´s performed another miracle because he´d have done well if he could´ve spent what he earned by selling sales, but Ashley wouldn´t even sanction that. Those moaning at spurs with their 0 spend don´t know they´re born.

Those who like to moan about our defensive displays this coming season and unattractive football wil have plenty of material. Rather that and have a chance to survive (one less year till Fatso leaves) than fall to the fizzy.

What´s most disappointing is that, depite the fact (IMO) we have marginally improved the squad in this window, we are in for another repeat of last season and we just haven´t moved forward.

Chin up though, House of Fraser is now in the portfolio.....

Considering the number of promises made to Rafa and none of them kept he has performed miracles getting in players who will be an improvement on those they replace and on a shoe string. And a shoe string is an exaggeration of what was truthfully available.

Show me one other manager who could have wheeled and dealed with that presssure of not knowing which rug Ashley was going to pull from under him next.

One consolation appears to have been that the tea boy has been less involved than in previous windows.

Also most of them have prem experience which is something you need for a relegation fight.

Too many variables to judge or predict how this is going to go.

I must say... I am not confident. The major factor has got to be Rafa's ability to make them gel.

It depends how u look at it, considering he has been left to dry he has done a great job, but if got backed like he and we deserve these players wouldn't be his first 5 choices to sign other than goalkeeper and Kennedy.

Never mind tho, he will have about £5m-3m to spend in January what more could he want?

I sound abit like those numpty pundits in the last part......
