They've got a reputation as a rich club who've bought their recent titles, nothing more.
It'll take them decades to establish a reputation and a legacy similar to Liverpool or Man U's.

Seen they have been arguing alot with Liverpool fans on twitter lately and they are starting to get so big headed, thinking they are one of the biggest clubs in the world, CANT STAND THE CLUB
NOT A BIG CLUB
JUST A MONEY CLUB LIKE PSG AND CHELSEA

If you look at their past history they have won quite a few trophies I would class them as a big club now. I wish we had their owners.
I watched them quite a bit as I used to go to Maine Road when I was young as my uncle was an ardent supporters.
They will never be entitled to boast their successes the same way as Manure, Liverpool and Arsenal can and always be able to as those three clubs built on earned success and genuine development starting decades ago.
The likes of both Citeh and Chelski at best can only call themselves lucky that the moneybags owners bought them instead of say Wigan or Walsall as any club with enough money thrown at it willy nilly could buy success.
Credit to both of them for the success they had before the BIG MONEY but certainly not after and disillusioned their fans will remain disillusioned about themselves.
Still struggle to fill that ground of theirs mind, despite the players on show, success etc. Even at 5-1 the other day it was like a morgue.
For those fans who were attending when City were down in the ****e heap i'm pleased they are getting this success but some of their younger new fans drive me up the wall.
THey don't seem to acknowledge any history before the wealth.
