Dyche talking about the recent transfer window-I sense he is a little miffed:-


“It’s life at Burnley, it’s not new to me.

“It’s ongoing, and it’s a really tricky balance to find – it’s not easy to try to find the right players, the right wage level, the right fee, the right ability and consistency. And to do it all in the financial parameters that we have is a very difficult task.

“We’ve been doing it year on year. This year we didn’t get the number of players I was hoping to get, but we still got some good players. I still think we needed more – certainly one, if not two more.

“But because it’s so delicately balanced, it’s hard to find those players and tick all those boxes.

If that is the case,then why are we wasting a full transfer window looking at players we know are on 75.000/week and the selling club wants a 20m fee for him?

Again Dyche is towing the line as an employee of BFC, I bet he'd like to say a lot more of what's in his head, only hope his frustration does not drive him away.

SD has perfected the art of phlegmatism. He acknowledges it's difficult when you can't just chuck cash at it, but he seems to take it on board, suffer the hardship on £4 million quid a year and just get on with his job.
