Charlton were held to a goalless draw by Fleetwood Town at the Valley. Charlton controlled much of the game and had some good chances but Fleetwood finished the stronger of the two sides.

The game was marred at the start by the anti social tactics of the crisp throwers, giving hard pressed staff unnecessary extra work.
