Aye I know what we all really think of him, but he’s got two really good goals in just over 2 full games so far so fair play to him. Is he an instinctive striker (cough.....cough again) as they’ve both been headers with not a lot of time to think (I’m not saying he’s like Cisse at all but that is what he was instinctive) so goal mooching is the name of the game for him (tell him to get in the box and get crosses in low and high) or were they just luck and he is just shyte?

Hes a toon player giving his limited all and thats good enough for me. I'm getting behind the lad. 2 goals and should have been three if he'd got the penalty against Cardiff. We've got fk all else to shout about, and you never know he could just go on a bit of a run if his tail is up. Hes still better than Ameobi.
Sammy or Shola or just one big lump together?
Both headers took some skill, too.
However, even though he scored, all he did against Chelsea was lose the ball in dangerous areas. I don't feel too comfortable when he's on the pitch, but scoring goals on a consistent basis would make me feel a lot better about him.
He's nothing special but he's trying and scoring.
So lets hope he carries on.
Maybe Rondon arriving has made him up his game.
Let's be honest...he's shit.
But...we've got to get behind him as he's with us at least until January and, realistically, at least until the Summer.
So, the positives? He seems to be a good 'team' member-he picked Kenedy up after his penalty miss and does the job Rafa asks of him. He took both goals well-especially Sunday's-and actually linked up play pretty well in the time he was on the pitch. Plus, as Jammy says, he tries and that's not something you could consistently say about Mitro.
