    Var

I know it's probably been done a thousand times on here but after quite a few decisions in the early part of the season,it's about time it was brought in.
The cynic in me though tells me the authorities don't want it as the lions share of 50/50 decisions go in favour of the "bigger" clubs or the FA favourite clubs.
Even if it was just for offsides and penalties.

    .
To be honest, that wouldn't surprise me.

The Wolves goal wouldn't have stood but I wonder what they would have made of the pen on Sunday?

I think the danger is if the the premier league gets VAR then how long before the rest of the leagues demand it to keep the football ethos of "uniform, equal rules from top to grass roots" and the cost in money that would bring. It seemed to have a big impact on games in the WC though, maybe not for the better and became bigger than the games themselves sometimes and wasted a lot of time too, disrupting momentum etc.

Think even VAR got it wrong once or twice in as well and it could serve to undermine referees decision making and their confidence to make a decision - they could end up using it for everything in the end, even previously simple decisions.

Used to be in favour of it but now not sure.

I think if it was used a bit like the cricketers use it then it would work as in each team gets 'x' amount of referrals per game, that would stop the appealing for every little thing. If you have used up your referrals on sh1t then that's it. Would stop the childish hounding of the ref as well.
