Most threatening away ground you've been to.

For me, Leicester, Filbert Street, mid 90's.

Beat them 3-1. Beardsley broke his cheekbone.

Scrapped all the way back to our bus. There with lasses and kids with us too.

    luton

leicester as you say last season when we were in the corner and scrapped in their end

and getting dragged out fulwell end twice

the cockney pride when we were playing chelsea

Joker Park...walking back to the car was, erm...testing.

Riverside is horrendous-unless it's changed there was only the one main path back into the town centre for either the parking or the train.

Leeds was surrounded by an air of menace as was the Boleyn Ground.

Stoke away in the league cup in the 90s was a bit mad.Or if you were like some of the lads who I know who used to go away,it was a good day.
Wolves away was always a bit dodgy as well,as was Middlesbrough,Sheffield United and had one or 2 altercations leaving Old Trafford and walking down the Chester Road.Never seen us win there apart from cup semi finals so feck knows what might have happened if we had.
Agree with Leicester as well. Was there the day we won 2-1 and it was going off everywhere.

Boro 89 O’Brien and Mirandinha team battles outside after bus windows put out

Joker 92 hell on roker baths road bricks bottles fighting, woman copper on a horse in her own charging up the road to scatter people then back up and down over again.

Been quite lucky myself at away games was never into all that.

Upton Park is my favourite away ground absolutely love Green St and the Queens pub. Lush out the back as it’s fenced off from the market and great music played.

The Peacock at Leeds was very tense prior to the 95/96 1-0 Gillespie game. Probably didn’t KO because they preferred us to win the title over Man U.

Leeds are ok. I sat with them three times, in their end, made it clear where I was from.

Gave me total respect. The bloke sitting next to me very proudly showed me his Eiffel Tower tattoo and 'Paris Riots 1975'

Leeds supporter I went with never told me the complimentary tickets he'd got us were for the unemployed of Leeds.

    Made for an interesting afternoon.
