Was listening to %live on the way back from the Lakes and Danny Mills was the summariser for the Chelsea/Bournemouth game. twice he made the point about the amount of stick Rafa got for being so defensive against Chelsea and wondered if Ediie howe would get the same amount of negative press...and twice the commentator totally ignored him and read out some other scores.

I care about the football I witness not what the stats say or the area coverage of 11 players from each team.
I see what I see like every other fan and one thing I know in my own mind.
Singularly each fan will not be happy being dished up with football like we are getting.

I don't give a rats what Huddersfield or Brighton or whoever is doing. I only care about what we can do to any team we play and I EXPECT to see us have a real go at any team as and when we have the ball, not just hoof it forward whilst taking up defensive positions in readiness for it coming right back at us.

I don't need stats for any of that and we are being coaxed into this nonsense which is turning the relatively simple game of football into a scientific debacle.

I share your passion on this point Ghost. I would like nothing better than to see Ginola beating two or three players and lashing an unstoppable shot into the net or watching another Shearer or Supermac hatrick

But let’s face it those days are long gone, there is not one single player in our squad that excites me when he has the ball. The squad we have is a survival squad and nothing more and all I can see is another relegation dogfight ahead.

I personally wouldn’t be too bothered if we got relegated as this is the current squads level and at least we would win more than we lost.
