I suppose that’s one of the drawbacks of having a loan window. Get a bad run of injuries with no chance of loaning anybody and you could end up with insufficient players to start the game?

I think it could be due to international call-ups . Nuneaton v York City in National League North has been cancelled too, because Nuneaton have had three players called up for international duty

It used to happen in the Championship with only us able to play due to lack of internationals until they changed the rules and closed the league for the same period as the Premiership.
