Ashley and Rafa are having a meeting

    About what I'm not sure.

Contract talk? Transfer talk for January? A nice lunch with nothing to come of it?

It can only be either about something bad or something good. There's no in between. It will be an ultimatum either way from one to the other and you can be sure Rafa will stick by his principles.

I have a feeling that nothing will come of it, Pat. The two of them don't agree on how a football club should be run. So it's Rafa leaving at the end of the season for me. Whether or not we are a Fizzy side by then only time will tell, but I'm starting to think we will go down.

^Ironically, going down might be the best thing to happen to us, as Ashley might sell up then.

Not necessarily as he gets parachute money. That could keep him milking the club for another year or so depending on the amount the club gets re relegation!!

True enough Ian. But the value of the club would decrease. If we stay up, he's earned money yet again and thus NUFC is a profitable business and more expensive for others to purchase.

    Isn't it lovely!!!

Honestly, these are very dark days for the club. There's just no hope under Ashley.

Aye the parachute payments are enormous for a couple of seasons added to the £100m ish for finishing bottom.

All of these millions would easily offset any devaluation..

God I despise the odious cnut...

I agree that'll end up changing nothing.

Both have decided their position and neither will bend from in it.

    I don't think.
