And now the honeymoon period is over are we back to the dross of last season , Davies shaky , Mowatt garbage , Moore lost , Cavare temperamental , Moncur inconsistent ?

Or ...... just a bad run of form ?

Bit of both if you ask me , working their b@llax off before Charlton and after the SKY backslap getting the plaudits and now think they can just turn up , they need a reboot and some ego's getting bruised by the coaching team .

Only reason we've had some decent results is because they ran their @sses off and were motivated under the new coaching team , the talent is still questionable with many of em .

75% of this team ain't good enough for the championship so what talent they do have requires some graft to get out of this league .

Get back to basics ya fecking big time charlies , you wouldn't have 6 points in the championship right now .

I'd like to know when Alex Mowatt became a holding midfielder? Back to basics 4-4-2. You don't need two holding midfielders in League 1.

Manager needs to grow a pair and play combinations. It needs to be either or. Mowatt or Dougall. Moncur or Bahre. Mcgeehan or Bird just being examples.

I mentioned the same with the strikers on another post. I think Stendel is doing a Lee Johnson and packing the midfield to keep bodies happy.

It's getting over complicated with 5 in midfield. He needs to drop some players. Ironically it was the injury to Scowen during the 2015/16 season that forced our hand and made Johnson play 4-4-2.

We need a proper oldstyle Captain , and certainly not a goalie ( does Davies use sign language ? ) you never hear him shartin orders art ? He should have wiped that player art fo first goal last night

I’m in east upper and I have never heard him once in 3 years. I have heard loads more from Luke Steele and he didn’t command his area nor was captain.
I honestly think this teams captain expectation is to predict the outcome and whatever happens, say ‘it’s a reflection of the team and we will react next time’ 😂😂

In their defence they're a young side but they certainly ain't gonna grow into men if they get their egos massaged after a couple of excellent performances. This league has always been about work rate and attitude afooar owt else, always will be. They need to stand up and be counted or we will fall flat on our faces. If tha sets a standard like we have done until last week then expect to come under heavy criticism if tha dunt maintain those standards. Its the hallmarks of any successful sportsman.

I think they need to be given time to stamp their own mark on the side and bring in some players that they’ve had some input with. I like this coaching teams passion and the way they go about things but they can’t make players into something they’re not. Most of this squad are good League 1 players but not Championship players and we’ll need a big player turn around IF we were to go up .
