    Best result this season

Well done to Rovers today! Superb point away from home against a side coming down from the Prem.
We where rocked by so many things today, and the fight and commitment shown was there to see. I'm very proud of the boys today. To lose our captain and leader after 10 mins was a huge blow, especially after losing Lenihan.
We where the better side throughout and although he freshened things up, those who came in did well. I do like Rothwell, however he doesn't score goals. This needs to really improve. He missed a complete sitter today after Dack put him through. He is a nice balanced footballer, I'm just unsure what he actually brings to the side overall. I'm interested to see how quickly Davenport gets in the side now he's fit.
Reed was excellent and scored a brilliant equaliser.
Then we lost Raya with 10 mins to go. It was surreal. Smallwood went in goal as we'd made our 3 subs. And they threw everything at us.
They way we stood firm and dug in was amazing to see first hand. Real commitment to the cause. Ritchie even made a few decent saves....it was crazy,! We defended very well for 90 mins without our normal back 4. And lost our keeper with 10 mins to go, went down to 10 men, and just held on.
3 games vrs 3 very good sides, who will all be up there around May. I'll take 4 points from that and hope we can get players back for QPR next sat. Brilliant battling display!! 9 points clear of Reading near the bottom. 3 points off the play offs. We are only looking one way. And today proved it yet again.

There were 7 minutes extra time too Champs!
I've been watching Rovers for near 60 years and have never been so proud of a team, and I don't mean just today.
Mowbray is doing an unbelieveable job

I have never shat myself more than in those 7 mins. It was brilliant in the away end today, top atmosphere. The lads, Tony and all the staff need commending again. What we have instilled here is special. And it's great to feel part of it all.....we all celebrated like mad bit it was all relative. To come away with a point was monumental. Most other sides would've wilted!! Not us

Remarkable performance and result in the circumstances.. I still hope we get missing players back quickly though.

Champs - at my age, not the "best" result where the heart is concerned! I've just finished watching, and I really do need a drink, although it's 8am.
That was such a roller-coaster, but our poor finishing meant they could have snatched it in that 45 minutes of injury-time. (That's what it felt like).
I take it, also, that the hand-ball rule was scrapped midweek.
Looking ahead now, I hope Mowbray and co. are working on getting Reed permanently. I also hope Southampton haven't been watching.
At least we've got a whole week, now, for the injured to recover, but it doesn't get any easier, with QPR on a five-match unbeaten run.
I take it DG still hadn't fully recovered. I hope he's right for Saturday.

I purposely did a separate thread before reading this not to be swayed but I fully agree with the comments above.
Arte et labore has never been more apparent than yesterday.
