Reserves v Morcambe Res tomorrow (Tues)

... kick off at Roundwood, 1pm. A note of caution though - it's scheduled for the lower training pitch. ie no terracing, no seats, no shelter, no tea bar, and you'll be watching from pitch level if you go... unless they have changed anything from last season. Not very supporter-friendly, especially in winter.

Suggestion... given that our reserves don't seem to play many games now anyway - why not play reserves games at the NYS? Or even do a deal to play at Millmoor? Could use the NYS changing rooms , just need a few of portacabins for the players/ officials to take the half-time break. Playing surface at Millmoor was still in great nick last year.

Wouldn't be insured for spectators would they?

Ground is probably not up to health and safety standards anymore due to lack of maintenance.

Reserves team news... something has happened to Bilboe in the warm-up (?).
Millers starting today with a fairly strong team:
Lewis, Jones, Hull, Wood, Hinds, Forde, Wiles, Palmer, Newell. Proctor, Kayode

I admit that it's unlikely, but even now it would still be better for the fans watching the match than the lower training pitch at Roundwood

Newell makes it 1-0 to the Millers with a well placed shot

(Additional information - Jones was unable to start the match, and was replaced by Beeden just before the kick off).

Morcambe equalise, but then Kayode restores the Millers lead by heading in a Forde cross.

    HT 2-1

Proctor makes it 3-1, prodding home at the far post from a well-directed Forde corner.
A shot from Forde hits the post
Hutchinson replaces Newell, and straight away Wiles puts him through on goal to make it 4-1

Carlton on for Palmer, Lewthwaite on for Forde (who has had a good game)
