Diame contract extension
Just read that his deal runs out at the eñd of this season but an agreement in his current contract kicks in if he plays a certain amount of games in his season

Ki is shelvey's other.... unfortunately Diame is covered by Hayden who is more worserer!

I don't like the thought of ki being a toon midfielder either though .

We are as weak in midfield as we are up top.
Good job we have a decent keeper and good defence.

Amazing as it is Diame, is actually statistically our best tackler.
He's made more tackles, getting the ball and passing it to one of our players than anybody else.
I agree we should be replacing him but at the minute, with few other options i see why Rafa is keeping playing him - i hadn't seen it till that stat.

On the ball, he's terrible. But, as someone who breaks up play, we don't have any genuine alternatives. I've never rated Hayden and he doesn't want to be here anyway.
