We were total and utter guff today.Other than Gillespie the rest of the players were abysmal and don’t offer us much encouragement for Wednesday night on this performance. Robinson will get plenty of stick for this showing and rightly so,but I would have to question what sort of input McManus has with the defence, and if he has any then surely an international defender? would put players on the posts when defending corners as their second goal surely highlighted

I suspect he has little or no influence as his main role is with the Youth Academy. Tactics are the manager's repsonsibility.

Spot on about defenders on posts defending corners. I've been on about that at the games for ages. A simple tactic that gives much more protection at set pieces.
