Musician, sinkov, and very much into reality ---too many remakes of old films these days ---no originality, like tribute acts by bands and artistes who portray stars who are still living and still performing! Originality = Zero.
If you have talent then go out and create something original, don't be content to re-hash or copy stuff ----be original and make a name for yourself!

It's like I said Sub, the live music shots in the film were exactly that, Cooper and Ga-Ga were filmed performing live at real music festivals in front of thousands. And bloody good they are too. All the songs are original, written for this film, not lifted from previous versions. The film isn't really a re-hash of the other three films either, it just takes the basic premise, which is prevalent in many other films and books besides.

Thanks for that sinkov, I am pleased that you enjoyed it and thanks for the explanation. I would rather go to watch a performer/band live than watch them on film, however, I realise that it is not possible for lots of fans to do that --that's life!
