Yesterday was a very proud day for us all that ended on such a sour note.
Whilst tidying up the flags, I briefly spoke to John Beresford and was asked to leave the stadium - kicked out despite what we achieved. The 3 kids that help out with the flags have previously been banned..(I've put the two Tweets together here)

...from talking to the players or getting an autograph when the stewards do far much worse.
I have never in all my life been spoken to in such a way. I have cancelled my season ticket after 38 yrs of going. I will not step foot inside that ground again

Despite @NUFC informing us that we had until Saturday to collect the flags from stadium, £4500 worth of flags have been destroyed and binned.
This is what #NUFC think to the efforts of our team and fans.

Aye disgusting. It’ll be the same hitlers who ripped the Keegan and Rafa flags off the side of the Gallowgate walkway during one of the protests outside of the SD (club cough) shop. It’s definately believable and who would put it past them.

We need to get Ashley out, it needs to start now!

Club statement has just said that maybe there was just a misunderstanding and someone jumped the gun....

a friend has suggested thay can be sued for the value of the flags , as the club would be official custodians until saturday

You get the feeling that things are coming to a head.

The irony is, the club are turning their biggest potential allies into their biggest enemies. Look at the support Rafa is getting despite the awful results and performances...it's because we know how hard he is trying and that's all we ask of the club.

If ever proof were needed that we're not fickle and don't have ideas above our station and don't demand to win things, it's the way 50 odd thousand turn up game after game to support Rafa and the team...

....but the club seem to be doing everything they can to throw this back in our faces.
