    Burnley Match Thoughts

Mi owd booans are feeling cowd. Glad to be back in warm 'arse.

Match ed the general feeling ovva lower level Championship game. Burnley ed made eight changes frum winning on Wednesday. Moore and Dougall on bench. Overall we deserved a replay playing well wiart creating real clear cut chances. Aar closest effort came from a Mowatt free kick which went a balls width (football, not players) past angle of post and bar. Pinnock my MOM forrus. Woodrow struggled a bit against better quality defenders. Their best efforts came frum high centres where their big lads outjumped our defenders.
Game most memorable for VAR--farcical length of time waiting for decision for both penalties. The first Cavare tackled wi iz "wrong" leg but got ball first fo me, eventually ruled out by VAR fo offside as Burnley player wo running up to tek kick. Looked like wid gerra draw until Lyndsay made a tackle he dint ev to mek--stonewall penalty but still eddto wait fo VAR to confirm it.

Pass me that bottle a malt.

That's pretty much how I saw it although only on telly. Thowt Thiam tried to tek game to them. He was looking to run at em positively but he ran art o steeam ageeun after 70 mins. Pinnock impressive and a calm assured defender fo me. Woodrow ed a great situation in second aif wi a 3 on 2 type situation darn middle but elected to shooit tamely frum 30yards when better options were available either side o him fo me. Disappointing to looiz but that's football.

Watched it on Coral tv what was flouncer Lindsay doing for penalty? You're in 90th minute ffs play percentages. Get him sold n' bring Jackson back in. Very dissapointed we were well in the game.

Agree with that SB. Pinnock was class. Also, thought Mowatt and McGeehan were excellent. I wonder if McGeehan will get his hair cut after his quiff was offside for that great header he scored with
