FAO those who go to St James’

Tonight was the second game I’ve been to at St James’ in 20 odd years cos I live abroad. Before then I was there every game.

Just wondering how the f**k anyone can go and watch that every Saturday? You can call me an armchair supporter if you want but I will continue to be one while that quality of entertainment is served up. Sh*t atmosphere and woeful football. We were sh*t in the ‘80’s too but at least the atmosphere was good and we had a laugh.

50,000 plus every game? Jesus - you’re easily pleased.

Different crowd now.Day trippers and students and people that go just to say they have been to the match.I bet less than 25 percent of regulars feel defeat like we used to years ago.
