    Changes needed ....

    Appalling and gutless at Ayr.

Easy matches since Christmas and totally unconvincing

Windy night and Safranko is up there on his own with no one to pick the balls up from him

Why do we not play 2 up front?? We have two good strikers in Safranko and Clark. A classic duo up front with lots of goals. Let’s take off the Largs handbrake and play 2 up front.

There is nothing being created from midfield. Aird all round game may not be pretty but he has had a lot of assists this season. Set pieces have been awful without him - Mcmullan, Smith and Nesbitt can’t cross anywhere near what Aird can. A lot of our goals have been Aird crosses to Safranko

Stanton and Fyvie might be ok on their day but they have totally failed to dominate teams like they need to. Losing the midfield to average teams.

No urgency in a big match with Ayr. Lost 3 matches to Ayr. Pathetic.

Stanton not interested at all, Fyvie clearly not fit or protecting his knee, almost as slow as Jimmy....who was way way off the pace, he needs to play on plastic pitches or against Montrose every week. Frans slower than a week in jail. McMullen well where do you start . Robbie questions rightly being asked.
    Why take Pavol off....?
Right brain fart that one when 1 down.

RN takes off safranko and leaves Jimmy on who was clearly off the pace and on a yellow card!!!

Utterly useless and gutless to a man. Tactics were all wrong tonight and there is no excuse for that.

Ye. Why take Pavol off. Playing with the wind, 1-0 down, 10 minutes to go so our only option left is to hump loads of balls in the box??? Don't get it!

What is the obsession with this 451 p!sh. The previous managers all played it and failed. Ayr play a simple 442 and have comfortably beaten us three times with 8 scored to our zip.
Heartless performance tonight. Nae doubt the usual p!sh will get spouted in the media about making up for it.

Robbie needs to be given time. Even if we don’t go up this season I’d keep Robbie for next season.

Taking off Safranko tonight though was utter madness. Windy night high balls and we take off our best, tallest player who can head the ball.

Last 10 mins and we are putting balls in the box with no one there to win it. WTF

I’m convinced that the reason he did that was the need to revert to 4-2-3-1 at every opportunity

Clark needs his chance to play up with Safranko and see how it goes.

    3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-1-3-2

Do whatever but let’s see some fight and determination and bit of attacking football

It’s nightmare of play offs now so let’s try something else to actually see if this team can produce some convincing football

Its a bad, bad night when a poor keeper is the best player on the park!

Instead of getting in another no10, how about 2 strikers and a proper midfield general! At least Robbie said that business was not finished yet, but last minute deals tend to be poor for us.

Horrible weather so fk all these modern formations.

It's the Scottish Championship FFS on a windy as fk night so you've got to fight, be calm in possession and pick the right pass. We did non of the above.

Honestly never been so frustrated after a game.

So many players don't have the heart or guts for the challenge as well as the quality, only 3 RN signings in the side that started, one thrown right in as we lack a right back

Booth is crap, McMullan is crap, that's two positions right away that need improving, Stanton not doing much recently, Fyvie either, Nesbitt needs to start from next week vs Morton onwards, Clark up with Pavol too

Don't think tonight we can judge how we will look for the remainder of the season given the conditions and type of game and personnel as think with everyone upto speed it will look a bit less like a Csaba/McKinnon built side but still think 2nd at best this season and give the play offs a go but really we need to let Neilson build to start next season fast should we still be in this league

Last thing, poor decision to swap ends at start given the wind was behind them first half due to it, knew it was game done once they took the lead
