    Things to ponder?

    Things to ponder,

    First 14 games of the season (up to end-October 2018) – Goals for 24, Goals against - 11, Wins – 7, draws - 5, losses – 2, points - 26

    Second 14 games (from Nov 2018 to 19 Jan 2019 – Goals for 22, Goals against – 20, Wins – 9, draws – 0, losses – 5, points 27

So, having a squad that was subject to (probably) more injuries than we have ever experienced at that stage of the season, apart from conceding twice as many goals in the second set of 14 matches, we actually gained more points and won more matches from Nov – mid Jan.

I know over the last couple of weeks there have been concerns raised, particular after scraping a win against Rotherham and the display at ER against Norwich, but overall?

    Comment?

    interesting stats mate

strange old season isnt it, some matches we've looked unstoppable, others we've looked ok but lost, very rarely have we looked poor

if I was choosing the next lineup, I'd probably go with

    GK Casilla
DR Ayling (just, he needs to improve asap)
    DL Douglas
    DC Jansson
    DC Cooper
    DMC Phillips
    MC Forshaw
    AMC Klich
    LW Hernandez
    RW Alioski
    ST Roofe

now I know with those wingers they will cut inside to use their stronger foot so we could always swap those 2 around, I think Klich in the AMC role would be great as he is a good long shooter of the ball, toss up between roofe and bamford i think, I wouldnt say Casilla has blown us away so far but he needs a run of games before we can judge him, when we get Berardi fit aswell, i think he could challenge for a starting position, i think that midfield spine would be good, phillips forshaw klich

i honestly dont know, its a bizarre seaswon

    however

we will be promoted automatically with 28 wins 9 draws and 9 losses

On paper joint top with 16 games to go..looks good.

Reality..5 defeats in 7 and just the one good performance..still got the 'spygate' points deduction to come

Just pondering a double jack daniels......

But to just ponder a little more..get Boro out of the way and we have a few games to come where we should pick up some points.

Think it's time to give Bamford and Brown a shot along with Clarke. we are a little stale.

think PHillips in for Forshaw is also needed.

Ayling has also been a little suspect.

MB is great but really takes his time switching up things.

Not as bad as heckinbottom, put Shackleton in instead of ayling, never thought I'd say it but rather have beradi in than ayling, he's lost form dramatically.

Ayling and Forshaw definetly had a stinker each, but sure next game they could be MOM material.
It's getting everyone on song in the same game is our problem.

It's actually our very poor finishing that's killing us. Versus Norwich we had 21 shots (to their 14) but only 6 on target and that has been a common trend all season. I think Bamford could be the key as he can be clinical - something we desperately need.

bamford so far has had a goal or an assist every game hes played for leeds hasnt he?
